Our advanced cloud-based AI algorithms analyze the sounds of bees inside the hive to give you detailed insight into the colony's health. Audio from the hive is sent to an AI model in the cloud, which analyzes it and sends status updates such as healthy, preparing to swarm, or under attack straight to the beekeeper's mobile app.
Beekeeping is a profession that must contend not only with the challenges of all four seasons but also with external threats. In the run-up to harvest, beekeepers make great sacrifices to monitor their bees' health and keep their hives secure, a process that is as exhausting as it is difficult. The challenges include hives becoming inaccessible in harsh weather so they cannot be inspected; being unable to monitor the queen's condition; difficulty tracking overall colony health and preventing the spread of potential disease outbreaks; the risk of theft; unpredictable hornet attacks; and keeping track of swarming season.
We developed modern solutions to these problems. Audio from the hive is sent to an AI model in the cloud, which analyzes it and sends status updates such as healthy, preparing to swarm, or under attack to the beekeeper's mobile app. Our advanced cloud-based AI algorithms analyze the sounds of the bees inside the hive and provide detailed information about their health. Using sound classification, the system tracks the queen's condition, monitors overall colony health, surfaces potential outbreak information, and delivers real-time updates to beekeepers through the mobile app.
